Year 2: music

We have been linking emotions to different types of weather e.g. stormy is angry, foggy is confused etc.  We then tried to play instruments that represented the weather and feeling we had chosen. The rest of the class had to guess what emotion and weather we were. We had great fun doing this activity. 

Year 2: Weather reporters for the day

Year 2 have absolutely loved our weather theme this week. Today they have taken on the role of weather reporters. They used maps to identify locations in north, mid and South Wales. Hello Year 2.  Don’t forget to check Google Classroom for your homework. It is due in on Friday. A huge well done to those of you who have already handed work in. We have really enjoyed seeing all of the brilliant ways you have been learning your tricky words 😁

Year 2: Values day Thankfulness

We have had a lovely day celebrating our Values day for Thankfulness. This afternoon we created trees of Thankfulness and then we made a Harvest wreath to remind us to be thankful at Harvest time.
