We have enjoyed completing our headwear for our special Coronation Art gallery this week.

We are liking our new class reader, ‘Letters from the Lighthouse,’ and have been recording 1940s-style radio news broadcasts, reporting on air raids over London.

Next week
We will continue reading our class reader next week and our writing focus will be diary entries. In Maths and Numeracy, we will be recapping factors, multiples and division strategies.
We will also begin to look at cuddly toy designs, before designing our own cuddly toy for an evacuee.

On Wednesday next week, we will be having a visit from Mrs Wright-Davies from Ysgol Rhiwabon, who will talk to us all about transition.
PE will be on Tuesday and Thursday as usual next week.
Marble jar reward!
The pupils have filled our class marble jar! Their chosen reward is to have a class disco, and this will take place next Friday afternoon. Pupils can come to school in non-uniform next Friday.
