Year 5: Week beginning 26 June

I have been very impressed with everyone’s Climate Change leaflets – they were so detailed.  We also have been busy writing a newspaper front page about a flood.  Tuesday was great fun playing Kinball.
It is Prayer Week next week, with a focus on friendship, so on Wednesday we will be visiting the prayer stations in the hall which have been organised by our Year 5 Criw Addoli.   For Maths next week, we will be continuing to focus on angles including calculating the angles of different triangles. In Science, we will continue looking at evaporation and condensation. In groups, we will write and record a ‘voice over’ for our book Flood. On Friday, we will be drawing and writing about the journey of a river.  Thursday is our Transition Day and Year 5 will spend some time in the Year 6 class with Mrs Keddie.
P.E. will be on Wednesday only next week.  Reading books and homework (maths sheet) are due in as usual on Tuesday.  Have a lovely weekend.
