Year 4: Weekly roundup

Another busy week in Year 4! We have been busy mastering division and bar graphs. We have read more of Charlotte’s web and can’t wait to find out what happens next. We have also considered how we spent our time last week, constructed a table and then made pie charts using the information. We learned how to analyse data and we have finished the week completing missions in the VIP room and designing an animal with a pneumatic part.

We will be recording money using decimal notation. We will also be researching spiders and creating a fact file about them. In PE on Wednesday we will do some sports day practise. We will also be writing recounts and learning what all living things need to survive. We will continue to read Charlotte’s Web and will begin to make our moving animals.

Homework has been set on Google Classroom (a paper copy has been sent for those who do not have access at home). The task is to research an animal and create a fact file all about it. This task will last the next 2 weeks and is due in by 1st July.

Have a lovely weekend,

Mrs Williams, Mr Kennard and Mr Kuiper
