Reception: Weekly Round up!

It’s been another fun week here in Reception and we have been enjoying looking at lots of Autumn nature treasures. Thank you to those who bought in colourful leaves, conkers, sticks, pine cones and acorns from home for this. 🍁🍂

We have been really interested in looking at animals that we might see in the Autumn time and couldn’t believe it when Mr. Hall came to tell us that his class had found a real hedgehog in their outdoor area!! We all went and had a look, being careful not to be too noisy or get too close. It was amazing to see a real live hedgehog!! We made some headghog inspired art for our Autumn wall and also tried our hand at baking some hedgehog bread rolls. We hope they are as tasty as they look! 🦔🦔🦔

Well done children for singing ‘Mr. Scarecrow’ so well in Church for our Harvest Festival. We enjoyed our first visit to Church and listening to Year 6 tell us all about Harvest time.🎶🌽🥕🍎 A big thank you for all your food donations too.
Children have come home with ‘Book 2’ to practise character names. These photocopiable books are yours to keep at home and children can colour them if they wish. There is also a letter about Seesaw if you are able to return this as soon as possible.
Next week, we continue to enjoy the delights of Autumn. We can’t wait! Have a great weekend everyone.
