Reception Weekly Round up!

It’s been feeling very Autumnal in Reception class this week! 🍂🍂🍂 Thank you for sending in all your Autumn finds. We’ve loved looking at the leaves, conkers and other interesting things you found.
We’ve been finding out about some different native British animals, especially hedgehogs, and what happens to them in Autumn time.🦔🦔🦔
We found out lots of interesting facts about them and used hedgehogs as a stimulus for National Poetry Day yesterday. We learnt a rhyme about hedgehogs, then created our own class shape poem about them! We baked hedgehog bread rolls and made art work using forks to print their spikes! Photos on seesaw.
Next week, we will be thinking about Harvest and thanking God for all our lovely food. We are looking forward to going to Church with the rest of the school on Thursday morning for our Harvest Service. 🥮🌾🥮
As we need to be in uniform for our Church visit, we will therefore have PE on Tuesday next week instead. Welly weds will be as normal.
Have a great weekend everyone. Well done for working hard all week.
