Nursery: Nursery weekly update

This week, we have been thinking about our school value of Compassion and how we care for and show our love to others❤️. We visited prayer stations in the hall with a Compassion theme…we always look forward to this and it is very calming, giving us an opportunity to think and reflect. For Children’s Mental Health week, with the theme of ‘My Voice Matters’, we read Elmer which is all about how everyone is unique and we should embrace our differences and be true to who we are. We read a story about Smartie the penguin for Safer Internet Day and then yesterday, Nursery and Reception visited ‘Caffi Cariad’ for a special snack….it was delicious! Please see Seesaw for photos.
We have also been having fun with : Valentine’s craft and cake decorating; Artographics to develop fine motor skills; Dough Disco and choosing instruments to sing and perform in front of our friends.
After half term we will be finding out about and Celebrating Chinese New Year🐉. We cant wait!
Have a lovely half term Nursery and we will see you soon
