Year 6 – Weekly roundup!

Congratulations on completing your second week of year 6!

Year 6 have been working hard this week, learning about adaptations in animals and creating fact files for their topic ‘Ein Byd’. This will lead us into an exciting creative task for next week.

They had their first French lesson of the year, recapping numbers and exploring different emotions.

This week, year 6 have been working hard in maths, multiplying and dividing numbers by 10, 100, and 1000. They have been practising using the sliders to carefully move numbers into different columns.

P.E was another success! They attended their first swimming lesson at Chirk leisure centre and have been working hard in their Friday session with Mrs McCaffrey and Mr Kennard.

Our first piece of homework has been sent out, with it due on Thursday the 21st. If pupils need some extra help, please bring in the homework and we can look through it together.

Looking forward to seeing you all on Monday. Enjoy your weekends!

Mrs Keddie and Mr Kennard.
