Year 6: The end of another half term

This half term seems to have flown by -they do say time flies when you’re having fun! All pupils have done some fantastic work for our ‘Rhyfel a Heddwch’ topic and we look forward to continuing with this topic after the half term break.
This week, we have enjoyed Sports Day, painting gifts for local businesses and learning more first aid.
We have also worked hard in Maths, solving division problems and completing more extended writing, changing the perspective of a narrative.
After half term

We will return to school on Monday, 5th June. On our first day back, we will be having a visit from PC Hulley.
#EthicalInformedCitizens

We will be using different methods to find averages in Maths and writing stories, inspired by ‘Letters from the Lighthouse.’
#AmbitiousCapableLearners

Our first week back will be Bible Story Week and we will focus on the story of Daniel. We will also begin to make cuddly toys for evacuees.
