We are so proud of Year 5 for all their hard work preparing for our class assembly. They did such a fantastic job! They spoke clearly and did a brilliant Cha-Cha slide.
We have been working hard on our creative writing this week, including descriptions and newspaper front pages.
Next week, we will be learning about school life in the Victorian times, and produce a webpage presentation on Adobe. After reading more of ‘Street Child’, we will write a character analysis of Shrimp. After finishing work on area, we have decided as a class to focus on multiplying a 2-digit number by a one digit number.
Thursday is our values day for compassion. We will read a book called ‘Can man’ and think about what it would be like to be in his shoes. On Friday, we will visit the prayer stations.
P.E. will be on Wednesday and our final swimming session is on Thursday. Reading books and homework (finding out about Ruabon and Wrexham in the Victorian times) are due in on Tuesday.
Have a lovely weekend.
