Year 4: Weekly update

Blywyydn 4 have been super stars this week. They especially enjoyed coding thermometers and taking some time out to be mindful and concentrate on some breathing techniques to calm down.

Next week we will be practising for our concert which is coming together really well. In maths we will be moving on to expanded column addition of two and three digit numbers. In literacy we will be writing a diary entry and in humanities we will be learning about climate zones and using climate graphs to compare temperature and rainfall in different locations around the world. In science we will be planning an investigation to see what keeps ice the coldest. We will also continue to read Kensuke’s Kingdom. PE will be on Monday so please remember to come in your kits.

Homework this weekend is just a reading book, please also continue to practise your lines for our concert as we will be practising without them as much as possible next week.

Have a lovely weekend.
