Pupils have continued to work hard this week and they are enjoying all of the new things that we are learning about. The class particularly enjoyed our absorbency investigation and were surprised to find out which material was most absorbent. We are also seeing a big improvement in all pupils handwriting and the joins between letters, da iawn.

Next week we will be considering the building materials used for houses in a less economically developed village in India. #EthicalInformedCitizens

We will be deciding on the best materials to use for a house based on their properties. Then we will compare our new house in India with our homes here in Ruabon. We will also be considering the importance of recycling materials.  In literacy we will be writing informal letters and in numeracy we will be moving on to multiplication.

PC Hulley will be visiting Year 4 on Wednesday to talk to us about drugs and substance misuse.

In Outdoor PE on Monday we will continue to develop our football skills. In indoor PE we will be linking actions together to make a dance. We have been discovering how hard our muscles and bodies have to work during a dance to keep the rhythm and control. Please try to remember to wear PE kits are on Monday and Wednesday, it makes it much easier to move when t-shirts and shorts (tracksuit bottoms) are worn. Thank you.
