Year 4 have worked extremely hard this week. They have enjoyed writing descriptions of Narnia, learning about materials and adding numbers to 100 in a variety of ways. They have also enjoyed starting our art work with the theme of journeys.

Coming up next week…. | New Beacon School

Next week we will continue with our theme of An Amazing World of Real and Make Believe. We will locate India on a map and then plan a route, listing the countries that we would fly over. We will be writing a set of instructions for setting up a tea party like Lucy has with Mr Tumnus in Narnia. We will also be learning about glass and carrying out some research about it. We will also continue to work on our descriptive writing, using adjectives and similes.  In numeracy we will be learning to add three digit numbers using expanded column method.

PE will continue to be on a Wednesday so please come to school dressed in your PE kits. Reading books will also be sent home next week.

Have a lovely weekend everyone, see you next week!
