Happy Friday everyone! ☀️☀️☀️
We’ve had a lovely week thinking about seeds and plants. We created some beautiful art work in the style of Van Gogh and have learnt about the life cycle of a sunflower seed!
We made some seed bombs in Welly Weds and have planted them on our school yard. 🌼🌸🪻 Thank you to the kind parent who provided us with the packs to make our seed bombs!
The seeds we planted a couple of weeks ago have now sprouted and we have been busy measuring them to see how tall they are! We have sent our sunflowers home now for you to tend! I wonder if any will grow into giant sunflowers like it says on the seed packet?🌻🌻🌻
Next week, we are looking forward to our annual trip to Greenacres Farm on Tuesday, with our Nursery friends. We are all very excited!
Children will need to come to school in their uniform and comfy shoes (trainers are fine) with sun hats and a waterproof coat just in case! The Farm is shaded but please put suncream on too. Children will need a small rucksack with their packed lunch and drinks for the day in. Any questions just let us know. 🐰🐴🐔 They will not need any spending money.
We’ve also got Sports Day on Weds (weather permitting) and then a training day next Friday to end the week. 🏃♀️➡️🏃🏻➡️
