This week has been royally enjoyable as we have been busy learning about the forthcoming coronation.
PE was lots of fun and we had a session with Liam from Real PE who led some fun games and activities. #healthy, confident individuals.
We have been busy creating some special collaged artwork using the Union Jack flag. We have enjoyed reading ‘The Kings Pants’ story and using it in our maths work. We finished the week with Music time, learning a song about the King and playing some percussion to accompany our song. #ambitious, capable learners.
We have especially enjoyed role playing in our royal corner by dressing up in our finary and having afternoon tea. 👸🤴
We are trying really hard with our independent reading in class, which is so lovely to see. We are following the words with our finger and sounding out new words. Please can everyone try to return their books and diaries every Tuesday so a new book can be sent home. 📖📚
Next week we have a lot of fun to squeeze in with the bank holiday Monday!!
We will be making some more things for the Coronation including crowns and paintings.
On Wednesday we will have Welly Weds as normal. 🌱🌈
Thursday is our trip to Park Hall Farm!! We are so excited. 🐷🐄🐑🐏 (I will send a reminder next week for this).
Friday is when children are invited to wear red, white or blue for our Coronation Party Day. There is a special menu for lunch time and we will have a fun day with cakes, music and party games! 🎉🎶🎊
