We’ve had a great week in Reception class. 🐤🐦🐧
The children have been really engaged in learning about all things birds! We enjoyed a special story about a kind bird called Little Robin Red Vest and then painted and collaged our own birds.
We’ve been out on the yard with our binoculars spotting birds in our local area and took part in the School’s Big Bird Watch. We’ve made some cheerio bird feeders to encourage more birds to our yard.
Yesterday we celebrated Diwrnod Santes Dwynwen by making some beautiful hanging hearts for someone we love.
Next week, we will continue our bird theme by trying out some different bird feeder recipes. We will also use birds to help us counting in maths! And will be learning a Welsh song about birds!
