Christmas has definately arrived in Reception and we have cracked open the glitter and tinsel!Reception did a great job of decorating our class Christmas tree and we have opened our first window on our giant Advent Calendar. 🌲🌟 Today we learnt all about the Advent wreath and candles. 🕯️
We’ve been excited by the arrival of 2 special kindness elves who have arrived by Special Delivery. They are called Jingle and Belle! They’ve been sent to spread some Christmas cheer and we can’t wait to see what Kindness Challenges they set us!
Next week we will be putting the finishing touches to our Nativity Play, ready to perform for you all! Don’t forget any costume items need to to be sent to school in a named carrier bag, by Friday 8th December. I have a lot of black pumps here in school in your child’s PE bags but if you have them at home, please send these in too.
Next week is going to be a busy one as Christmas festivities get into full swing. There’s lots of crafts to be made aswell as a special story about Jesus’ birthday to be told! We are also excited to be having a visiting Christmas Panto on Tuesday! How exciting!
