Reception: Kung Hey Fat Choi!

We’ve had a brilliant first week back discovering lots of interesting things about Chinese New Year.
We’ve loved learning about money in the Chinese Take away and have been busy making lanterns and other crafts for the festival. Today we celebrated by learning a song about Chinese New Year and trying some Chinese food. It’s been lots of fun! We also did our own dragon dance and made Chinese Music with the instruments!🥢🥠🥡 Photos on seesaw as usual.
Next week, we are a little closer to home, thinking about all things Welsh for St. David’s Day.
We will make some paintings for our Eisteddfod competition of the Welsh dragon. We are already busy practising a song to perform to the rest of the school, next Friday morning too. Children are welcome to come dressed in Welsh costumes or colours of the Welsh flag on March 1st. There will be lots of Welsh activities on all week. It’s going to be Bendigedig! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
