This week we had a great time playing Botcha, learning the rules and trying to get the balls into the hoops. After playing, we all enjoyed an ice lolly to cool down – diolch Mrs Booth!
We had a lovely morning for Welly Wednesday keeping in the shaded part of our garden.
We have had lots of fun learning through play, for example, selling ice cream in our role play area, exploring amazing shells with magnifying glasses, building sandcastles and splashing, pouring and playing with boats and sea creatures in our water play area.
We have also been looking at the letter ‘p’ and words that start with that sound.
Next week, we will be having a Kinball taster session and are continuing with our under the sea topic, finding out more about what lives in the ocean🐠🐬🦀🐚🌊.
If possible, please could you send in a named sunhat for your child and also, there will be no Welly Wednesday just for next week (21st) as Nursery joining us in September will be here for their ‘stay and play’ sessions.
