Nursery: weekly update

This week we have been busy creating fabulous craft for Mother’s Day and talking about all the great things our Mummy’s do for us. We have also been loved playing in our role play shop ‘Siop Blodau’, have been doing a spot of gardening and weighing items in our outdoor area to see which are heavier and which are lighter. We have been learning about animals and the names of their young  and have especially loved learning about frogs and tadpoles as we have all been to investigate the frogspawn in Reception🐸. We have even been singing a song about them!
Next week we are beginning our theme of Spring and will be starting to think about why we celebrate Easter.
On Monday 11th we will be celebrating World Book Day and children may come to school dressed as their favourite book character or, if they prefer to, they can come to school in their own clothes.
Friday 15th March is Red Nose Day and children are welcome to come to school dressed in red if they wish and donate £1 for this cause (money can be donated in school or on Parent Pay.

Have a fantastic weekend
Mrs Golby, Mrs Cheetham and Mrs Edwards😁
