We have had a very festive week in Nursery this week🎄⛄. We have decorated stars for the Tree Festival in St. Mary’s Church based on the theme ‘Love shining down at Christmas’. Nursery have been so busy painting and decorating Christmas craft and doing rehersals for our school Christmas play. We are so proud of everyone🤩. We have opened the first day of our Nursery Advent calendar and were very pleased that the class Naughty Elf hadn’t stolen the chocolate! We have also played games to practice problem solving and following instructions such as a matching pairs game, Bingo, making patterns on peg boards and doing jigsaws.
Next week Nursery will be enjoying lots of Christmas activities and learning about the Nativity story.
Just a reminder please for any clothes e.g. T-shirt, leggins that children were asked to bring in as part of their costume for the Christmas play, are to be brought to school in a named carrier bag by Friday 8th December.
There will no Welly Wednesday for the remainder of the term due to Christmas concert practices and Christmas activities . I will let you know when it will resume on our return in January.
