Nursery: weekly summary

Well done Nursery for another fantastic week in our class.  Even though we have only been in for four days, we have been super busy. We have done some amazing mark making and writing, practicing writing our names, numbers and having a go at some springtime words too. We have re-visited the ‘S’ sound and are now moving on to ‘A’.
We were lucky on Wednesday having some sunshine just in time for our Welly Wednesday. It was great having our snack there in the fresh air.
Yesterday, we read the story of ‘The boy who cried wolf’ to help us with the importance of our value of Honesty.
Next week, we are looking forward to starting our practices for sports day and fingers crossed we will be able to get the bikes out too (weather permitting!). We’ll be having fun developing our gross and fine motor skills motor skills with activities such as writing with giant chalks, painting a board outside with paintbrushes and water, throwing and catching, writing in sand etc.
Have a brilliant weekend Nursery.
