This week we have enjoyed listening to the story of The Rainbow Fish and talking about how sharing can make our friends happy. We had a letter from The Rainbow Fish asking for our help to give him colour and sparkly scales…..our Rainbow Fish look amazing🐟!
We have also been: practicing counting and number recognition and doing actions such as hops and jumps to the numbers that are showing; counting sea creatures on a game on the Interactive Whiteboard and listening to a story about a trip to the seaside and guessing what the different sounds are.
Next week we will be celebrating the Paris Olympics by doing lots of fun activities such as making flags and medals, sampling French food, having our own mini olympics and having an Olympic torch procession! We can’t wait! Please can children come to school in PE kits on Thursday instead of Tuesday for our mini olympics.
We will not be sending new reading books home next week… please can you return reading books as usual next Thursday and we will keep them in preparation for the end of term.
Have a super weekend
