Year 6 – Weekly Round up!

We had Canon Pam join us this week for another Eucharist service. The pupils worked hard to plan their own prayers, songs, and reading. Thank you to all the parents who joined us this week. We look forward to seeing more of you on the 12th of March at 2:15.

In P.E, we had our first rugby session. We focused on how to hold the ball and increased our accuracy and speed through games. There are some star rugby players in the making!

Friday started with our school Eisteddfod to celebrate St David’s Day. The whole school came together to celebrate through songs, dances, and poems. Da iawn to the winners of the art competition! I’m sure we can all agree that it was a tough competition as many of the entries were excellent. These entries will be sent home today to share with you all.

Next week: We have PC Hulley visiting year 6 to discuss anti-social behaviour. P.E will be on Thursday again; outdoor kit is advised. On Friday, indoor kit will be required.
Maths homework – I have added a resource onto Google Classroom to help support pupils with their homework. We have already covered this concept for a few weeks in September and often use the same skill in our maths lessons. This is not a new concept and could be completed independently, with the support of the online resource if needed.
