Blwyddyn 6 have been working hard again this week. They have been busy writing biographies, learning French numbers 1-69 (the video we used has been added to our Google Classroom, in case you want to re-watch at home) and writing personal information in Welsh. We enjoyed using the apparatus in gymnastics this week and also enjoyed our visit from Mrs Wright-Davies from Ysgol Rhiwabon.
Homework – Pupils have been given a small part to rehearse for our Harvest Service. They also have a comprehension task about food banks to complete.Â
Next week
Our writing focus will be diary entries, following finding out the sad news of Hurricane Helene this week. We will also be writing poems on Thursday, to celebrate National Poetry Day. We will take our inspiration from the book, ‘Mother Earth is weeping.’
On Tuesday, Tempest photography will be taking individual photos of the pupils. As a result, we will have PE on Wednesday and Thursday next week. Pupils will need to be in full uniform on Tuesday for the photographs. Diolch.Â
Have a lovely weekend!
