Year 5 have had a wonderful day exploring the Christian value ‘Friendship’. We started the day by sharing fun facts about each other before playing a ball game to identify the values we look for in our friends. In preparation for September, Year 5 have made beautiful flowers which represent a friend in their class. This means that when they return in September, they can be reminded of the friendships they already have. After lunch we focused on teamwork through mini activities which required excellent communication and collaborative skills.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with Year 5 today, and I am very excited to welcome them back in September!
