Another week of super learning in Year 4. Da iawn.
Next week we will be learning about negative numbers and how to multiply a three digit number by a one digit number. In literacy we will be writing a poem about summer.
We will also be learning about databases and we will have a go at creating fields for databases. In our science work we will be looking in more detail at food chains and thinking about how changes in habitat can impact on food chains. We will also continue with our moving pneumatic animals.
Reading books are coming home today. Please remember if the book is not finished you are more than welcome to keep it at home and just send in the blue reading record. There is no written homework this week. We would appreciate it if the pupils worked on their times tables, particularly 6, 7, and 8. They can use times tables blast on Hwb if they like.
PE will be swimming on Thursday and cricket outside on Friday so please remember your kits.
We have a growing number of coats and jumpers with no names in that are unclaimed. If you think that you are missing a coat then please let us know. As the weather is now warming up, the pupils are taking their jumpers off so please make sure that they are clearly labelled with your child’s name.
Have a lovely weekend.
