Blwyddyn 4 have had a wonderful first week back in school. We launched our new topic, Sensational Summer and we had brilliant fun doing a yoga taster session. The pupils enjoyed their yoga session so much that they requested another one for PE today so we did some Pokemon and Minecraft themed yoga activities.
Next week we will start the first of our tasks linked to summer by learning about plants. We will be planning an investigation to see whether plants need leaves to grown. In literacy we will continue with some poetry and will be writing friendship poems linked to Charlotte’s Web. We will also be considering what people like to do with their time in the summer and creating graphs to show this. In the VIP room one of the missions will be to create a Google Form to gather information about how and where people like to spend their time during the summer. In maths we will continue with division but will be solving divisions with remainders.
Homework and reading books are coming home today, homework is a maths activity with some division questions on it.
PE will be outdoor on Monday and indoor on Friday so please remember to wear your kits. Friday’s lesson will be gymnastics so the pupils will be bare foot. If anyone is unable to take part bare foot please remember to make sure that your pumps are in school to wear instead. Thank you.
