Summer Reading Challenge
The Summer Reading Challenge is a FREE activity open to children aged 4-11 years old.
During the challenge the children will need to read 6 books and make at least 3 visits to the library (they will accept two books on each visit to the library towards the challenge).
On each visit where the children return two completed books, they will get a set of stickers to go in the SRC pamphlet. After two books are returned they will also get a scratch bookmark; after 4 books – a small pot of slime; and after 6 books a pop-it bracelet and keychain, a certificate and medal.
All children who complete the challenge (across Wrexham Libraries) will also be entered into a prize draw to win one of: a family bowling ticket for 6 people; a box of lego; an Odeon Voucher worth £20; and a Banana Bens Free Entry. The challenge runs between 5 July and 13 September.
If you require any other information, please do not hesitate to contact Ruabon library.
I will sign up all Year 3 pupils for this challenge, assuming parents are happy for me to do so. If you would prefer me not to, please contact school by Tuesday (8th July). To do this I will need to give the library their names and, if I have them, their library card numbers.
Diolch, Mr Steele.
