Year 1: Welcome back and some important updates

Welcome back Year 1! I hope you have enjoyed your Easter break and are ready for our new topic to start on Monday, I think you are going to love it! I am really looking forward to seeing you all and hearing all about what you have been up too over the last 2 weeks.

Updates to P.E and Forest School

A few updates for when you return. We are lucky enough to have Liam continue coming for P.E sessions with us for the next 3 weeks. However, the day he can come to St Mary’s has changed. So P.E for the next 3 week will be on a Tuesday, therefore can children come to school in P.E kits on Tuesdays. After those 3 weeks our P.E time shall return to the normal day of Wednesday. I will post a reminder when this happens.

Forest School shall return to its regular Thursday afternoons slot (Tree top Thursday) for this term. So please can children come ready for forest school on a Thursday. 

For clarity I have listed a timetable below with dates to help.

Weeks starting 18^th, 15^th and 22^nd April (The first 3 weeks)

Monday – School Uniform

Tuesday – P.E Kit

Wednesday – School Uniform

Thursday – Forest school clothes (inc wellies / puddle suits in separate bag) 

Friday – School Uniform

Weeks starting 29^th April, 6^th, 13^th and 20^th May (The last 4 weeks)

Monday – School Uniform
