What a fun end to the half term we have had in Year 1! Well done to all the children who have been working so hard. Over this last week we finished off our work on adding and subtracting 10 in Maths. Yesterday we all had lots of fun competing in the different races on Sports Day.We also completed our wonderful descriptive writing, describing either Jack or the Giant. We have all really enjoyed learning about our topic Jack and the Beanstalk. When we return, we will be getting stuck into our new topic…… Dinosaurs! I am really looking forward to this topic and I’m certain the children will love it even more! Today we finished off the week at Tree Top Thursday. We had fun in the sun and enjoyed a lovely ice lolly as a special treat. Have a lovely week off Year 1. You continue to do us all proud.
