Nursery: weekly overview

We have had another busy week enjoying lots of activities. We had fun reading ‘We’re going on a leaf hunt’, doing the actions and then hunting for and collecting the different coloured leaves.🍂🍁. We even put them on a parachute to see how high we could make the leaves float !
Thank you for bringing in all the Autumn items you have collected on your walks. We have loved looking at the leaves, conkers, flowers, pine cones and all the other natural things, especially using magnifying glasses👀! Our Autumn table has been one of our favourite places to explore.
We have used the interactive board to practice our listening skills by guessing which animal noise it is;  created Autumn art by rolling conkers in paint; had our first ‘Dough Disco’; cut out our handprints to hang on our ‘kind hands’ tree and collected acorns and had lots of muddy fun in Welly Wednesday.
Next week, we can’t wait to make hedgehogs with Autumn leaves, we’ll be practicing counting by playing Autumn I spy and we’ll be making soup with Autumn vegetables !!
Have a great weekend!
