Welcome back Nursery, it has been lovely hearing all of your half term news!
On Tuesday we had fun taking part in a yoga taster session. We were very impressed with your stretching and balancing and we even tried the tree, warrior and chair poses. Next week, we will be having a ‘botcha’ taster session!
We have launched our new topic ‘O dan y mor’/’Under the sea’ and have loved playing in our new areas such as an ice-cream shop, boats and sea creatures in our water area, shells with magnifying glasses so we can have a close up look and we’re hoping to have a tent too! We have been making jelly-fish and they are looking fantastic.
We had our snack in Welly Wednesday as the weather was amazing. We love being out in the fresh air and we did lots of digging, cooking in the mud kitchen and moving things in wheel-barrows. We loved being outside for our story before home time too.
Our new letter sound is ‘t’ and we have been thinking about words that start with this sound.
Next week, we will be continuing with our new topic and investigating all the different creatures that live in the sea 🐟🦈🦀, continuing with craft and practicing letter sounds and numbers.
