Nursery: Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!🎉
We hope you have all had a lovely Christmas break. We have been so excited to see everyone and to hear about all the super presents🎁 you had from Father Christmas during our ‘circle time’. You did so well waiting your turn and listening to what your friends said.
For our winter topic launch this week we have hunted for signs of winter on the school yard and took pictures of what we discovered on i-pads. We spotted holly, frost, shoots of new plants growing and bare branches. We have decorated snowflakes with our finger tips using different shades of blue and looked and winter photos, talking about what we can see.
There has been great excitement this morning as we have chosen a story book to borrow and bring home. Please could you return the book next Thursday and then we will be able to swap it for another one📕. Many thanks.
We will be finding out all about the winter season in Nursery and will have fun learning all about animals that live in the snow, exploring ice, bird watching and feeding the birds amongst other exciting things. You never know, we might get some flurries of snow next week⛄!
Looking forward to seeing you all on Monday
