It’s that time of year again when a number of children are having to have medication during the school day for various illnesses. Please, where you can, give the medicine to your child outside of school hours. If it is absolutely essential that your child needs medication during the school day, there has to be prior written agreement from parents for any medication, prescribed or non-prescription, to be given to a child. This written agreement must also include the dosage. Medicines must be handed over to the class teacher in a named container.
