Year 6: Weekly round up

A sunny end to a week full of creativity!
This week we spent lots of time planning a holiday to St.Lucia. Year 6 looked into real flight tickets and what other expenses they might come across such as luggage fees, airport parking, and accommodation. The whole class have said they feel that they could confidently book and plan a detailed holiday at ease #AmbitiousCapableLearners
The week started and ended with creating their own carnival headwear, fit for a St.Lucian festival! These pieces were sent home today, with the remaining few to follow next week. Themau work has included writing a weather report, exploring Fair Trade, writing postcards, and painting landscapes.
Next week: P.E will be on Friday next week and it will be outdoors. Homework and reading books were sent home today. Please can these both be returned by Thursday the 11th.
Eucharist – On Tuesday, year 6 will be leading their final Eucharist service. This service will be held at the church at 1:45. We look forward to seeing lots of you there!
Have a lovely weekend and hopefully the sun keeps shining!
