Year 6: The week ahead

We have enjoyed wearing red today and thinking about Comic Relief and what the charity does to help people. We enjoyed a whole school worship via Zoom, completing wordsearches and thinking about memories that make us smile. Earlier this week, we all wrote a compliment for someone in class and popped it into our Compliment Box. It was lovely to hear everyone’s kind words for each other and realise that even when we can’t be generous with money or “things” we can always be generous with our words and smiles!
Next week, we will be writing poetry. We have enjoyed reading ‘The Snow Spider,’ and are looking forward to writing poetry about Arianwen.
Mrs Wright-Davies will be paying us a visit on Tuesday and on Thursday we will be having a virtual workshop, all about forces.
In Cymraeg, we will learn more about Jade Jones, talking about her using the 3rd person and deciding which statements about her are true or false.

We will be thinking about our Christian value of forgiveness next week and having Values Day on Wednesday.
We will compose new national anthems for Wales, using Garage Band to create accompanying music.

Homework for the next two weeks is to find out and present information about a Welsh landmark – more information is on Google Classroom.

Have a lovely weekend!
