Year 6: The week ahead

Well done to all pupils of Blwyddyn 6 for your efforts this week.
Next week, we will continue to looks at fractions and mixed numbers. We will hear another story from another country and create flowcharts before writing our own stories. We will think about our Christian values in RE.
As mentioned earlier this week, we have now asked for our posters to be professionally printed and laminated, ready to be displayed around the village of Ruabon. We have received a quote from the printing company and the pupils have decided to hold an ‘Entrepreneur Challenge,’ in order to raise funds. To link in with our topic of ‘Ein Byd,’ we would like to make Christmas decorations, making them as eco-friendly as possible. As we did with our recycling mini-projects, we would like to use items that would normally be thrown away.
We may need any of the following, should you have them at home:
Bottle tops, jars, toilet roll/kitchen roll/wrapping paper tubes, corks.
Pupils will be doing more planning and designing next week, so we may be sending further requests then!
Have a lovely weekend all,
Mrs Burgess, Mrs Bateman and Mr Kuiper.
