Year 6: The end of another week

We have had another good week in Blwyddyn 6. Our week started well with a very informative visit to Dangerpoint. Pupils have also been working hard in Maths, looking at the relationship between fractions and decimals and rounding decimals to the nearest tenth or hundredth.

We have been busy writing recounts of our Dangerpoint trip. Following on from writing autobiographies last week, we have begun writing biographies about ‘Earth Heroes,’ such as Greta Thunberg.

Homework this week is in preparation for European day of languages – pupils can choose any European country and carry out some research. They will also need to find some basic language that they can teach to the rest of the class on Thursday next week!
A reminder that PE will be on Tuesday and Thursday next week. We will also be looking at news reports from around the world, writing about ourselves in Welsh and counting from 1-70 in French.
Wishing you all a fabulous weekend!
