Year 6: The end of a great week/Next week

Year 6 really enjoyed going swimming this morning. It was lovely to travel on a bus together and they had lots of fun learning in the pool. Their behaviour at the pool was excellent – da iawn pawb! We will look forward to doing this again next Friday.
Next week, we will continue to investigate and find out about forces. After investigating with elastic bands, we will move on to stretching springs.
Homework, which is on Google Classroom this week, is to find out more about Sir Isaac Newton. We will learn more about him in class next week too, using our findings to write a report.
We have been so impressed with the artwork pupils have produced this week and look forward to sharing some photos with you. Next week, we will move from sketching to printing and even creating sculptures.
Tuesday is Dydd Santes Dwynwen – we will celebrate by finding out about her life and having this as our focus for class worship next week.
Please remember to return reading books and diaries on Monday. Swimming will continue to be our PE session and will be on Friday.
Have a lovely weekend all!
Mrs Burgess, Mr Kuiper and Mrs Bateman.
