Year 6: Next week

We have had a busy week, putting up our Community Project posters and visiting the Prayer Stations. There is a short Maths homework on our Google Classroom this week. A huge well done again for the lovely homework about Welsh musicians last week. I was very impressed.
Next week, we will be having Zooms with all the other classes in school. The pupils have prepared presentations to share with each class, to introduce them to our ‘Four Purposes Characters.’ We look forward to this.
We will also revisit using Adobe Creative, this time to answer the questions: Why should we be proud to be Welsh? How can we help to promote the Welsh language? Why is the Welsh language important to us and how may it help us in our lives?
We will be writing character studies, using our planning from this week. In Cymraeg, we will be looking at speaking about Welsh sports people, using the 3rd person.
We will use Welsh landscapes as a stimulus for composing music too.

Our Maths focus will be multiplying numbers with 2 decimal-places, including amounts of money.

We will be having another visit from PC Kim on Wednesday, where she will be talking to us about anti-social behaviour. We will be celebrating Red Nose Day on Friday – swimming will be on Friday too as normal.

Have a lovely weekend.
