Today, we have been celebrating St David’s Day. We have also launched our new topic which is ‘Cymru.’
We performed a poem in our school Eisteddfod, ‘Fy hoff gem.’ Da iawn pawb! #HealthyConfidentIndividuals
We used our pupil power to share what we would like to learn about and what activities we could do during this topic. We used padlet and will use these ideas to set up our challenges this half term. #AmbitiousCapableLearners
We then thought about the Welsh Government’s vision ‘Miliwn 2050.’ They would like there to be one million Welsh speakers in Wales by the year 2050. We thought about how we could help with this and used Jamboard to combine our ideas. Syniadau da!

We also enjoyed some Welsh food, including Welsh cakes and bara brith. Flasus iawn!
We have also recycled some empty jars, decorating them with “all things Welsh,” These will be our entries for the St David’s Day Competition. They look fantastic! Hyfryd dros ben! #EnterprisingCreativeContributors
