We look forward to welcoming pupils back to school tomorrow. Here is some important information for this week:
~ Year 6 pupils will need to come to school dressed in PE kit, trainers and their school jumper/cardigan on both Tuesday and Wednesday this week. We will be having PE on Wednesday this week, which will be a session led by Liam from Sports Development. On Tuesday, we will be launching our new topic. This will involve us being active therefore kit will be required!

~ On Friday, we will be visited by PC Hulley who is going to talk to us about staying safe around harmful substances.
Here is a brief overview of some of things we will be learning about this week:
In Cymraeg, we will be using the past tense to talk about our Christmas holiday, as well as recapping expressing opinions and justifying them with reasons.
In Maths, we will be using the short division method to divide 3- and 4- digit numbers by 1-digit numbers, showing remainders in different forms.
In worship, we will be thinking about the new year and making resolutions.

We will also be using our research, questioning and explanation skills and further developing our sketching skills as part of our new topic – all will be revealed! A big part of our topic launch will be sharing what the pupils themselves would like to investigate and learn about and encouraging them to come up with new ideas for our challenge areas too.
See you all tomorrow! Wela i di yfory!
