Year 5: Week beginning 12 November

Pnawn da Blwyddyn 5,
I hope that you have enjoyed the sunshine this weekend.
In Maths, we will continue to focus on doubling and halving and using this to multiply and divide by 4.  We will be reading the end of ‘Homework on Pluto’ and writing a book review.  I am really excited to start our new topic – The Victorians.  As part of ‘Pupil Power’, I am looking forward to hearing what you would like to do as part of our topic.  Also, you can share in groups what you know about The Victorians.  We will be creating a timeline of the key events.
In R.E. we will be looking at the symbolism of what our Bishop wears.  Also, we will be learning about the history, features, and layout of St. Asaph Cathedral.
Please remember your Maths homework and reading books tomorrow and your P.E. kit on Tuesday.  See you all tomorrow.
Mrs Hodkinson, Mrs Hughes, Mrs Edwards and Mrs Broadhurst.
