Yesterday, year 5 did a ‘Conscience Alley’ activity. Pupils were put into three groups:
- One group were arguing for everyone on earth to speak the same language and have the same religious beliefs
- One group were trying to perused others that the world is a better place with its many languages, cultures and religions
- One group had to walk through ‘the alley’ and listen to the views from each side, before making a decision which they agree with and explain why
The pupils were very mature and enthusiastic when completing this activity. They enjoyed it that much that they were still discussing the issues raised at break time. I enjoyed listening to their ideas, views and reasons.
Da iawn blwyddyn 5!
