Year 4: Weekly update

Blwyddyn 4 have worked extremely hard this week and have earned their final marble in their jar. We will be keeping a close eye on the weather over the next two weeks and setting a date to go to the park as our reward. The class have already started to fill their marble jar again, da iawn!
Next week we will be recapping tenths and decimals in maths. In literacy we will continue to write our poems started this week. We will also be writing a wanted advert for a friend. We will carry on with our work on conservation and we will start to think about how climate change affects animals and their habitats. We will link this to being a good Christian steward.
Reading books are coming home today. Homework is a sheet on multiples. We have discussed this in school and have had a look at an example so all pupils know what to do.
PE will be swimming on Thursday and cricket outside on Friday so please remember your kits.
Next Thursday is values day so we will be doing some work about our whole school value, Honesty. Pupils will be given scenarios and decide whether it is better to tell the truth or a lie.
Have a lovely weekend.
