We have had a lovely busy week this week and we enjoyed making the most of the sunshine to go and investigate habitats in our school garden. We used the data logger and recorded temperature and light levels then created a JamBoard to show our findings.
Unfortunately PC Hulley didn’t make it in today but this visit will be rescheduled for later this term
Next week we have a super busy, exciting week celebrating the Kings Coronation. We will be creating art work ready for our whole school display and we have a party on Friday so please come to school dressed in red, white and blue.
Maths next week will be grid method for multiplication and we will continue reading Charlotte’s Web in literacy. We will be writing a set of instructions to keep a pig happy. In science we will be learning all about food chains and we will have a new set of missions in the VIP room.
Homework this week is subtraction using the frog method. We have been working on this in school this week and there is also a help sheet attached to the homework sheet.
PE is Monday next week (sports day practice) and swimming on Thursday. We will also be learning something new on Wednesday as we will have the opportunity to try Hula Hooping (uniform can be worn for this).
Have a lovely Bank Holiday weekend.
