We have a had a lovely week this week. The pupils loved visiting Mrs Hodkinson in Year 5 for the day. They also enjoyed spending some time in the prayer stations to celebrate our whole school value of Friendship.
Next week we will be investigating symmetry in maths. In literacy we will continue to read Charlotte’s Web and we will write a newspaper report based on the events in the story. In Welsh we will be recapping how to talk about our favourite hobbies. We will be finishing off our science investigations and thinking about what we have learned about plants from them.
On Wednesday we will be going to the Llangollen Eisteddfod. We will leave school at 9am sharp so please make sure that you are here on time and that you have brought your packed lunch with you as we will be eating this at the venue before returning to school at 1pm. At the moment the weather for Wednesday is looking dry and warm but it may be worth bringing a small waterproof jacket just in case, especially if you have one that will fit easily in your bag.
PE next week will remain the same as this week, outdoor on Monday and indoor on Friday.
Homework this week is just reading books. Well done for all of the words that you found on last week’s homework. I can’t believe how many you all managed to find!
