Year 4: weekly roundup

Blwyddyn 4 have worked super hard again this week. I am really impressed with their use of frog method for counting on to subtract. They have also started to write some detailed expositions.

Next week we will be moving on to multiplying using the grid method in maths. We will continue to write our expositions and then edit them. We will continue to read Charlotte’s Web and will be writing recipes to keep a pig happy. In Science we will be identifying habitats and comparing some of the animals that live in them. In Cymraeg we will continue to practise describing people.

Next week is a very busy week so here are some important dates to remember:

Wednesday– PE kits. We will also be having our SRE lesson in the afternoon where we will recap the names for the body parts and discuss appropriate and inappropriate touching.

Thursday– Values day. Today we will be thinking about our school value of Honesty.

Friday– PC Kim will be visiting to talk to the class about Internet Safety.

Homework and reading books are coming home today.

Have a lovely weekend and enjoy the sunshine!
