Year 4 have worked extremely hard this week. We have been busy writing descriptions of the White Witch and have worked together to write a set of instructions. The pupils have come up with some fantastic ideas for our ‘Missions’ to complete in the areas within the classroom. In numeracy they have done a great job of adding using expanded column addition. We have also begun our work on India.
Next Week: we will continue to describe characters from Narnia and we will take on the role of different characters during our Role Play activities. We will put our imagination to the test by designing and describing an imaginary setting. In numeracy we will continue to learn new ways to add 3-digit numbers. We will learn about the physical and human features of India and in Science we will be testing the absorbency of different materials so that we can decide which one would be best for a coat in Narnia and a coat in India. We will continue with the theme of Indian musical instruments in out music lessons. PE will continue to be on Wednesday.
Our worship theme next week will be peace and we will celebrate International Day of Peace.
Homework will be sent home today, please return it on Wednesday Morning.
Have a restful weekend, Mrs Williams, Mr Kennard and Mr Kuiper
