Year 4: Weekly round up

Another fantastic week of effort and achievement, da iawn Blwyddyn 4!

Next week we will be starting our work on time in maths, calculating durations. We will then move onto measure. In science we will be using what we learned this week in our melting ice investigation to make predictions about keeping water hot.

We will be creating leaflets to advertise the holiday that we budgeted for and planned this week. We will also write a postcard, imagining that we have been on the holiday. #EnterprisingCreativeContributors

We will also be learning about different climate zones. We will identify them using maps and atlases then we will use graphs to compare climate data from different regions. We will end the week by creating our own climate graph for Cardiff.

As well as all of this we will continue to practise our concert production each afternoon. The pupils have done a fantastic job learning their parts so far. Please continue to practise them over the weekend.

Homework this week is to continue to practise your times tables using Times Tables Blast. It is really important that you can recall each multiplication fact quickly and accurately. Reading books have also been sent home again today.

Have a lovely weekend, the last one in November before the festivities begin!
