Year 4: the week ahead

Pnawn da!

I hope that you have all had a lovely half term break. I am really looking forward to hearing your holiday newyddion during our Helpwr Heddiw sessions this week.

This week we will be finishing off our work on India, we will plot rainfall data onto a graph and then we’ll use it to consider how India’s climate is different to ours.

In Science we will begin learning about keeping things warm. We will investigate thermometers and have a go at using them to record temperatures.

In our creative writing we will write a factpage all about Beavers, following on from meeting Mr and Mrs Beaver in the last chapter of Narnia that we read. We will also have a go at writing our own poems and we’ll look at a WAGOLL recount.

In humanities on Thursday we will begin our work on weather in different locations. Please remember to bring in your photographs of yourselves on holiday or on a day trip in a different location to Ruabon.

PE will be on Wednesday as normal so you will need to wear your kits to school.

Looking forward to seeing you all!

Mrs Williams, Mr Kuiper and Mr Kennard
